Mindblowing Bridge In Vietnam Has Now Been Opened, And It Is Reminiscent of Scenery From Lord Of The Rings
A bridge outside Da Nang in Vietnam is stunning visitors with its elegant design: it looks as if it’s being held aloft by two gigantic stone hands.
Known as the Golden Bridge, the beautiful bridge stands 1,400m above the sea level above the Ba Na hills, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The walkway, in gold color, is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums and it extends for approximately 150 meters, curving around in an elegant design. However, it’s the sculpted hands that give it the real wow factor. The bridge’s design came from company TA Landscape Architecture, and although the hands look like they’re carved from stone, in reality, they aren’t. “We designed the skeleton of the hands and covered them with steel meshes,” said a representative of the company. “Then we finished with fiberglass and added the theming on it. The entire construction of the bridge took about a year.”
Vietnam has now experienced a touristic boom as more and more people learn about the beauty of this unique country. The bridge’s structure is part of a $2 billion investment to bring even more than the 1.5 million visitors the region receives every year. Would you like to visit this mindblowing bridge?
